Qt installation in Symbian

It would be great if Qt can be installed on any internal drive in Symbian phones. E.g. N97 has so small C drive that Qt barely fits there.
From technical point of view there are no problems. It the slightly slower mass memory drive performance the only reason? Even so the user can do the decision if want more space on C or better startup performance.

bq. Due to performance reasons, the Qt libraries are always installed to the C: drive of the device. Other packages can be installed to other drives. Therefore, the minimum free space required on the C: drive is about 10 MB (up to 14 MB, if QtWebkit and QtMobility are also needed).

The first 4.6 packages where installed on C: without prompt the user about it.
I guess it has changed due to devices where it does not fit in c: - I agree with you it should be automatically installed in C:
