    Hello,

I've not seen much about Qt and OpenCL since this blog post 2 years ago:
    http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2010/04/07/using-opencl-with-qt/

Even to docs only mention Qt 4.6 and 4.7:
    http://doc.qt.nokia.com/opencl-snapshot/

Is anybody still working on OpenCL integration, or did that die?

    Thank you

I am not aware of anybody working on this at the moment but of course Qt is now under Open Governance so if you are interested then please feel free to pick it up and improve it.

        Hi ZapB,

        Thanks for the reply.

As an aside: I'm aware of the Open Governance model. Your suggestion that I can just pick up the work due to the Open Governance model is in line with other such comments on the forum, but it's a little off-putting to someone who is both new to OpenCL and Qt.

This is a sensitive point for many Open projects, and I'd suggest maybe to preface such remarks with "If you know about OpenCL and have the time, ...."

        Thank you

Of course. I wasn't trying to force you into doing so. But your criteria are a little too stringent IMHO, I would loosen it to "if you are willing to put in the time to learn about OpenCL and ..." ;)

I too would like to see this project continued but alas I also do not have the time at present.

Well IMHO you can also use CUDA or OpenCL w/o Qt, there is even a C++ wrapper on the Khronos website.

I will go OpenCL, I started to upgrade it to the latest 5.1 but it's not my current priority.
I will in the next months I think.

Anybody be interested to share about ?

In most cases, the bug is mine. But of the remaining lines are correct.
