Hi
Not sure where to post this, but I have a company and we've been tasked with designing a machine (the entire thing, being mechanicals, electronics and software).
We've used Qt Creator before for developing our computer-side application, talking to a microcontroller USB serial device.
We are doing a similar thing here, where we will have a touchscreen linux single board computer running Qt (currently set up with Buildroot).
The issue we're having is we want to create a really modern UI for the machine and trying to navigate developing with Qt Design Studio, then importing into Qt Creator, we've had issues getting that to even work with the example projects.
I'd happily bring a developer on board to build a prototype UI for us based on some designs in Illustrator/Photoshop/Figma etc. and then have them help us set up our development environment in Qt Creator so that we can work on things there to build the real application, ideally with the ability to work in both software at the same time by putting things in the right folder system where both applications can find everything. It would be a long-term collaboration as we look to continually improve and add new features to this product.
I've had a look around to some of the Fiverr/Upwork type sites but not seen any developers with good examples of similar work (modern UI). There's obviously lots of developers in these forums but I don't know how I'd find those that are freelance/looking to take on work.
Does anyone have any recommendations of someone, any companies, any places to find developers or anyone want to put themselves forward for this?
If this sort of post isn't allowed or should be moved into a different topic, please advice what we would need to change.
Thanks, Sam

What about this one and examples, @Saminvent? ;-) More examples can send in private.

Hello Sam, I sent you examples of developed modern Qt Quick applications in private messages.

It seems like you are leaning towards working with an individual, in which case you can disregard or de-prioritize the following suggested link. However, you did mention "companies" ("...any recommendations of someone, any companies") at the end of the question. So when looking for a company, you might read through the recent thread: https://forum.qt.io/topic/161923/software-engineering-design-services
