Tesserect-ocr

Please help me to understand tesserect-ocr source code so that i can use it's library for my project in Qt. I tried to find out any tutorial to understand the project but i left with only http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/downloads/detail?name=tesseract-3.01-doc-html.tar.gz which is very hard to understand so if any one knows any thing please guide me .I m thankful for any little help .
