Qt VS Tools not (fully) working with MSVC 2022 & Qt 6.8.0

Hello,
For the past years we've been using Qt in combination with Visual Studio. One of the nice features was that Qt Designer would open inside the VS IDE. We recently updated our Qt to version 6.8.0 and MSVC to version 17.12.3 but now the Qt VS Tools (version 3.3.1 (rev.1)) seem to have stopped working.
We pointed the 'Versions' settings to the new Qt in Options->Qt->Versions, also under Options->Qt->Qt Designer we set 'Run in detached window' to 'false'.
Does anyone else experience this, and if yes: do you know a way to fix this?

If not, please elaborate -- What exactly has stopped working?
