Hello, I have QT designer 5.15.8 installed on my RPi-4 with latest Raspbian Bookworm (Wayland desktop). When mooveing my GUI project from older version of Raspbian to the newest one I noticed strange white edges on QPushButton, QLineEdit, ... , Change styleSheet doesn't help at all.
What to do to solve this problem?

    With best regards, Vlado

      Hi,

apologies, I am a bit puzzled to understand the problem.

      • 5.15.8 doesn't sound like a version of Qt Creator (part of which Designer is). It actually sounds like a pretty outdated Qt version.
      • Raspbian Bookworm isn't a supported platform, but it should work somehow.
      • It's not clear to me, whether strange white edges appear in the widget designer (i.e. at application development), or inside the application when it's run.

Could you please be a bit more verbose about the issue? Which Qt version, which Qt Creator version, maybe a screenshot?

My Pi4 (X11) doesn't show such edges, so it may be Wayland related.

      Cheers

Would you be so kind to guide me how to attach screenshot, I have already prepared some screenshots?

On RPi-4 older version of Raspbian (X11) looks normal.
On RPi-4 Bookworm Wayland looks strange with white edges allaround...
So I am quite sure it is related to Wayland.

        PyQT5 version 5.15.9

You can just drag and drop screenshots.
However, please update to Qt 6 first.
5.15.9 is a commercial release - you can contact your account manager for support.
          Cheers
