Show .md file previev above of below editor

When I open an .md file in recent versions of Qt Creator, it will show a preview of the formatted output next to the area where you the text is edited. That's kind of nice, but I don't think the feature is very usable with the default behaviour, as the editor itself becomes too narrow. I can make it wider by moving the split line, but then there won't be much left of the preview...
Is there a way to get the preview above or below the editor instead?
