Qt "graphicalscene" and / or 3rd party graphical tool - any users here ?

I am looking for any real user experience with Qt example "graphicalscene"'.
I am basically looking for application (in C/C++) to adapt as
object hierarchy tool, and using this Qt example as a start.I like to be able to display plain flow chart - to display "main window" and its associated "mdiArea" subwindows.
Something which could be added to main code as GUI debugging tool.
I do not want to build an external flow chart like "graphcalscene" is attempting to do- there a better tools available.
