    I've been trying to figure out how to properly make and use a Qt 6.7.0 library with cmake, but I'm finding the documentation/guides on this to be severely lacking and/or misguiding due to the different Qt versions.

    The library would be used for me to house common functionality that I develop and use between various programs, as well as common/basic Qml components. I had this working with Qt 5 and qmake, but moving forward I'd like to switch to cmake and use the latest versions of Qt.

    I posted a job on Upwork for anyone that is interested in making some cash in exchange for a very basic example library, example project that uses said library, and some additional support/guidance on questions I might have.

    I'm not sure if we're allowed to post external links (or job postings), if not please let me know and I'll remove the link (or delete the topic).

      @KidTrent hi,

      Nothing wrong with proposing work. Moved to the job sub-forum.

      In between, you might want to check some of KDE's projects as they have been using cmake for quite a long time building both applications and libraries / frameworks with Qt.

        @SGaist Hmmm thanks, I'll take a look at their website.

        Is $50 not enough for something like this? Not seeing as much traction as I would have hoped.

          @KidTrent well, you request two fully documented fully independent cmake projects that uses two different languages for a rate that would likely not cover an hour of work in many countries.

            @SGaist I mean yes, but the actual contents of the projects is almost non-existent. The only real work is within CMake.

            How much would you estimate the job would cost?
