-debug-and-release option not honoured for frameworks on macos

When I build/install qt6 with the -debug-and-release option (and the default -framework option) on macos, the _debug libs are not included in the installed frameworks. There are also some dylib's and these come in 2 versions.
I've checked this with versions qt6.6 and qt6.7.
For qt5.15 the frameworks contain both versions.

I should have added that this is on Sonoma14.3.1 and for a native (arm64) build.
