As per @Christian-Ehrlicher's link. (I believe) I recall you tried the Artistic Style one in your early posts when you joined this forum, don't know how you got on with it. I used the uncrustify one many years ago, it was OK.

@JonB Your memory is fantastic... I have no recollection of trying that. But I could blame it , as is customary, on Ubuntu. I have probably installed it and it go lost with so many reistall of Ubuntu.

And to remind you: none of the beautifiers removed blank lines like you often wanted, so if that's the objective you are out of luck!
