QtCreator12 can not save the custom Kit`s "CMake generator" setting.

I set the CMake Generator in the Kit settings, but the settings were reverted to Ninja after restarting QtCreator

I have the same issue. The CMake generator keeps resetting to Ninja everytime I restart Qt Creator.
Reinstalling doesn't do anything.

Hi I could solve the problem by deleting the folder where the QtCreator saves it settings. On windows that is
%APPDATA%\QtProject\*
While solving the issue, all settings and will be gone so not the nicest fix.

The issue has been fixed. With Qt Creator 12.0.1 I was not able to reproduce the issue.
