Yeah, I noticed. I have even seen mockups for it, based on the N9/Lumnia design. This is from a Nokia patent application:

Rumors say it will run Windows 8, so I hope Qt will pick up the challenge and create some (QML?) components to fit in with the Metro interface.
I think Digia do have a commercial Qt version available for Windows 8. But I'am not sure the Metro style is supported.
