Qt designer icon problem

So I made a button, and put it on "icon only"
I then chose the icon from my sources, and it applied the icon but destroyed it.

The icon is a simple black squircle with white text inside, the white text disappeared on all of them except for one which it just butchered into tiny white dots in the box.
They are png for transparency around the box.

Can't find any documentation online for qt designer, so came here.

So actually it turns out the "color: solid" was messing with the text so I just made the color transparent, is there a better way to do this?

Also, now I have a white box around my button, is there a way to get rid of the white box?

Okay so now I fixed the white background, by switching to "flat", but when I click the white box appears again with each click to indicate click, how to get rid of?
