This is a re-post of "a problem that I thought was resolved":https://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/11363/, but it has returned.

When I'm using floating views in debug mode (like for locals, breakpoints, etc.), temporarily leave debug mode (to go to Edit or Projects, for example), then return to debug mode...my windows are gone. Similar behavior when switching between sessions.

This is very annoying and time-consuming. It doesn't occur 100% of the time, but I'd venture it's close to 90% of the time. It somewhat diminishes the usefulness of sessions.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

EDIT: "here's the link":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTCREATORBUG-6493?focusedCommentId=173884#comment-173884 to the bug report.
