Qt 4.8.0 shows version as Qt 4.7.4

I downloaded and installed Qt 4.8.0 from the "Qt Download Page":http://qt.nokia.com/downloads ("file link":http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/sdk-windows-cpp-offline for windows offline downloads).

After installation, checking for version in the bq. menu bar -> help -> about Qt Creator
shows the version as Qt 4.7.4. As per the current version, shouldn't it be 4.8 or 4.8.0 etc?

Maybe I am getting it wrong or misunderstood. It would be nice to have someone else take a look at it.

Qt Creator itself is built against Qt 4.7.4. It brings its own set of Qt libraries with it and does neither rely on nor ever use your system installed Qt. So this behavior is perfectly ok.
