I'm evaluating whether I should use qtpdf for my pdf software, if the clarity is so low I may have to give up.
Are you scaling the PDF for display after rendering it with the PDF library? Could you show some of your code related to this? Otherwise you'll only get wild guesses in this forum (if anything at all).
