Help compiling a project with QtCreator

Unable to compile QtRptProject QtRptDesigner
I m trying to compile QtRptDesigner on Mint 20.3. I have successfully downloaded and installed QT6. I have successfully got it to compile and run on a stand alone Linux Mint PC using the same version of QtCreator.
Downloaded a fresh copy of QtRptDesiger for Sourceforge. Tried to compile project but it would not build correctly. Now I get the error message "No valid settings file could be found.
All settings files found in directory "/home/marty/Application/QtRptProject/QtRptDesigner/QtRptDesigner.pro.user" were unsuitable for the current version of Qt Creator, for instance because they were written by an incompatible version of Qt Creator, or because a different settings path was used." when the project loads in QtCreator. I am new to QtCreator and do not know what that error means or how to edit the file in the error. How do I get back to the baseline and start over? I want to only compile QtRptDesigner As a release and put the result in a specific directory. Please help me straighten out this mess.
Thanks

Apologize for the duplication. I re-posted the topic because my posts appeared to be deleted. I was not aware you responded to my original post. I will look for your response to the original message.
Should I be able compile the project form a new download and extraction of the file that has not been compiled on the new machine? Is there a problem compiling on a VM?
Would you please repeat your repose in case I cannot find the original.
Thanks for your help!

OK. Found two .pro.user files. Deleted them both. Now project opens to configure project but indicates "No suitable kits found".
Grayed out Desktop, Desktop qt 6.3.2 gcc 64 bit, qt 6.3.2 gcc 64 bit, replacement for Android 6.3.2 clang.arm 64 - 8ua and web assembly. Did I not download all the required parts of Qt?
Should I do the download a gain and include more? Thanks
