QtCreator: Completion/Suggestions include function parameters?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but autocomplete never includes function arguments for me even though it shows them in the suggestions preview and I swear I've see gifs/videos of it including them for other people.
I type in part of the name, the suggestions come up, and then whether I use enter or tab, or hit Ctrl + Space after hitting enter the first time and then do it again, only the function name gets inserted:
Is there anyway to make it insert the entire function signature?
Happens with 7.x and 8.x.
