I have installed Qt on my new MacBook Proc:

    macOS Monterey
    Version 12.5
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)
    Chip Apple M1
    Memory 8 GB

When I launch Qt Creator and click Open Project... I get a dialog displayed multiple times containing:

"Qt Creator.app" would like to access files in your Desktop folder.

When I click on the OK button it then displays:

"Qt Creator.app" would like to access files in your Documents folder.

This happens every time I launch Qt Creator. How can I fix this so it doesn't keep on happening?

The Documents folder exists in iCloud. This contains:

    Documents - Simons MacBook Pro
    Fusion 360
    XMLMPAM

XMLMPAM is the folder containing the source and project files I wish to open. Can anyone help as I cannot open any project in Qt Creator.

[Edit] Apart from the constant dialog that appears on startup, it would seem that I must now use Qt 6.3.1 as the SDK's before 6.3.0 do not support the apple M1 system.

Now this leads to many more issues, things that are no longer supported and are not available in 6.3.1.

    Kind Regards,
    Sy

@SPlatten try ’codesign -s - --deep ~/Qt/Qt\ Creator.app‘ to sign it with a local code signature. That should fix your problems.

@SPlatten Are you sure that you cannot use 6.3 on M1? I am pretty sure that I have used 6.3 and even 6.2 on M1 before but I have already upgraded to the latest 6.3 so I cannot check.
