Title bar customization (menubar, other widgets...)?

Hi there,

I wanted to customize the title bar to get more viewing space for my application.
To do something similar to visual studio :

I found some earlier posts along the years saying there's no way to do it easily.
I get it that it depends on the OS window, and that if you use windowless then you need to reimplement stuff.

But why is it not supported by QT? It seems this feature is very often asked.

Hello and welcome.

Because it's not easy to do on each windowing system, in a platform-agnostic manner? And it's not required very often?
