QLocation and QTextToSpeech in Qt 6.x

Hello,

Since version 6 of Qt, the QLocation and QTextToSpeech modules have disappeared.
This is a problem for me because I used these two modules in several applications. So I have to stay at Qt 5.15.2 to continue my projects.
Is there a way to incorporate these old modules in version 6? Can we recompile the 5.15.2 code in order to incorporate it in version 6?

If this is not possible, are there any alternatives?

Hi, I believe they will be supported soon. With Qt 6 there was a lot of code re-writing so a lot of modules were removed only to added later on.

There's currently work in progress to bring QtLocation to Qt 6.

If memory serves well you should be able to build both modules yourself.
