    I created an account through this forum and now I receive a newsletter on my email address. How do I opt out of this newsletter?

        Hi!
        I avoid clicking on on links in emails that I don't trust. Especially since the link goes to a website I don't know at all (hubspotemail . net).
        Usually account management pages have a setting for email correspondence, like Twitter for example:
        Email.png
        I was not able to find it yet. Can you point me in the right direction?

          @Beep-Bop https://forum.qt.io/user/YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME/settings
          then "Email" - what is set in "Subscribe to Digest"?

          Also, from which Mail adress did you get "spam"?
          What was it about?

            @jsulm Thanks for the link.

            what is set in "Subscribe to Digest"

            "Subscribe to Digest" is set to "Off".

            from which Mail adress did you get "spam"

            The emails are labeled with The Qt Company <info@qt.io> as the sender, but are actually sent from that same ominous hubspotemail.net (bid46q2.bf07x.hubspotemail.net) as mentioned above.

            What was it about?

            Here is an example of the content:
            Email.png
            And more recently:
            Email2.png
            I intentionally didn't load the images. They also have links on them that, again, go to hubspotemail.net.
            So to summarize, they are about news and information on Qt products and services.

              @Beep-Bop said in Opt out of email spam:

              ominous hubspotemail.net

              You are either paranoid or live under the stone. Or both.
              If you've spent 30 seconds using google (I know, one should not use google as they spy on you) you would actually go the hubspotemail.net and notice it is a legitimate business delivering CRM and e-campaign solutions. At this point logical conclusion is - Qt is using their product to manage e-mail campaigns.

              For more information please re-read.

              Kind Regards,
              Artur
