    Hey guys,

I tried to integrate the new online Doc of Qt into my 2.4.0 QtCreator by setting the
Option -> Help -> Home Page to "http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/qt-4.8/" and trying to load this home page in the Help screen.
And it might be working but I get an error all the time.

While loading the doc page I get this message

The page could not be found

Error: Error downloading http://developer.qt.nokia.com/images/qtdn/bkg_block.gif - server replied: Not Found'

And thats it. Is this already known and is there a way to fix that ?

    Thanks for help guys..

It doesn't work that way. Qt Creator does not support the online help. It ships its own offline version. And even if you could get the 'homepage' to load that way, F1 & friends would still use the offline documentation.

Also note that the webview the help browser uses is limited (no Javascript, etc.). This is intentional as we do not know where our users will get their documentation from and without JS it is way harder to do nasty things;-)

Ok guys, thats what I expected.

Too bad it would be really cool to integrate the online documentation with its new features into the QtCreator.
Maybe it will be possible in the future.

          Thanks for your reply...
