Configuration Parameters for downloaded installer

We have a commercial license. A patch was provided to us by Qt for a specific bug.
We are having trouble building the patch for windows and linux because (apparently) we don't know the exact parameters to pass to configure that will match the pre-built binaries.
How do we figure that out?
