Can't use Qt Creator after trial period expired
-
I'm using Qt Creator to work on an open an open source project. I did as fresh install of it and it started asking a buy a license whenever I started it. Now that the trial period has ended, I get a message saying such and then the program immediately exits. I had thought that no license was required for open source development. How do I activate Qt Creator?

@kitfox
"Trial periods" and "buying licences" sounds like a commercial Qt. The open source/community version has no such. Where did you download what from?I see you previously raised this issue in your https://forum.qt.io/topic/129066/can-i-use-qt-creator-enterprise-in-open-source-project, but did not return to that.
Maybe you should try completely uninstalling everything Qt and reinstalling.

Do not use Qt credentials that are associated with the commercial license.

I think I had to log into my account and check a box indicating I was using Qt for personal use
