Find problem

I'm using Qt Creator 4.4.1, Based on Qt 5.9.2 (MSVC 2015, 32 bit). Built on Oct 4 2017 04:12:53

The problem I have is that Find/Replace doesn't work properly, regardless of the check boxes not being checked it will only ever find exact matches.

I realise that upgrading Qt Creator would probably fix this, but the laptop is so locked down by IT, this isn't an option, is there anything else I can do to fix this?

You mean the Ctrl +F find/replace, or Ctrl + Shift + F / Ctrl + Shift + R? If one fails, try the other. Perhaps it will work.

@sierdzio Ctrl+F doesn't but Ctrl+Shift+F does work, thank you.
