Qt Creator Examples are Missing

I have installed Qt and Qt Creator on a Window 10 (x64) bit computer and the examples pane is blank. Looking at a similar posting on this forum it says I should have a c:\Qt\Examples folder, there is no such folder present.

How Do I get/install/show the Qt Creator examples

How did you install it ? and for mingw or visual studio ?

Thanks for the reply. It put me on the right direction to understanding what the problem was. I had completely stuffed up the installation so that I had neither installed for mingw or visual studio and had failed to even install Qt!
