Qt Installer color scheme is unfriendly
-
Qt Installers light-on-black color scheme is literally painful to use. It turns out that when you are astigmatic-- as I am-- that dark mode, i.e. light text on a dark background, increases eye strain.
“People with astigmatism (approximately 50% of the population) find it harder to read white text on black than black text on white. Part of this has to do with light levels: with a bright display (white background) the iris closes a bit more, decreasing the effect of the "deformed" lens; with a dark display (black background) the iris opens to receive more light and the deformation of the lens creates a much fuzzier focus at the eye.”
In my case, I cannot read white text on a dark background without intense pain.
Putting aside the strange green which further enhances the lack of contrast and thus the challenges to use the installer interface, it would be nice if a future version would be a little less trendy and a little more able to accommodate astigmatic eyes.

This is a user-driven forum. I would suggest you to create a bug report about this or write to the mailing list which are the official channels for such kind of stuff.
