Drag and Drop Shape Objects

I am currently making a "sensor" that is a circle and that can move in any direction but it's direction is controlled through a rotation variable which is from 0 to 360 degrees. I am using Shape, ShapePath, and a PathLine to make it and it displays properly. My team and I wanted to be able to drag the line and influence the rotation value; however it seems all attempts at assigning a MouseArea to Shapes, ShapePaths, or PathLines haven't worked.
all attempts at assigning a MouseArea to Shapes, ShapePaths, or PathLines haven't worked.
Can you please post the code for one (or more) of your attempts?
