If anyone is missing the tabs of Qt 4.8 Assistant: It can be switched on in the last tab of the settings.
Really, they are off by default now? Or does Assistent use the same pattern as Qt Creator (a list with open pages) now by default?
Yes and yes (there's a dockwidget with the list), but I find tabs much more handy ...
