Setting QT_USE_NATIVE_WINDOWS env var, makes the QWidget window to render in black

There's a 3rd party tool that uses alien widgets and I want to automate, for this I set the env variable QT_USE_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 which then I can see native window handles but this makes the tool dialog to render all in black. Is there anyway I can fix this?
