Mapbox Plugin no longer functional?

I'm trying to use the Mapbox location plugin on Windows, because the MapboxGL plugin does not seem to be supported with MSVC.

However, it seems Mapbox have dropped support for the URLs it uses. When a request is made, an error is returned:

"Classic styles are no longer supported; see https://blog.mapbox.com/deprecating-studio-classic-styles-d8892ac38cb4 for more information"

And that page says support was dropped last June.

Any ideas on how to use Mapbox with MSVC? There doesn't appear to be any options to change the URL format, as far as I can see.
