You don't mention whether it is the commercial or OS version. Native or running under cygwin?

If it were me, I'd uninstall and then reinstall where it is suppose to go.

            Hi @BenCheung0422,

            I'd go wiht re-install also.

The libraries (at least qtcore) are patched during install to contain the installation path, so it might or might not work.

But after all, you are free to try it.

            Regards

Qt has to stay free or it will die.

You should reinstall Qt to make sure everything works correctly. Some of the Qt tools - especially qmake - have the installation path baked in. They will not work right away when copied to a different directory. I believe there is a way to fix the paths. However, I cannot remember and I don't know which tools need fixing. To be safe: reinstall Qt in the proper location. It's way easier.
