Qt Design Studio open source binary

Hi, I have installed Qt Design Studio from open source installed on a ubuntu 20.04 machine. The Qt Design Studio does launch successfully, but when I try to open a project, created on a different machine, it says cannot read project files. No license information found.
How can I indicate or include license information, when I don't have a commercial license, or any license at all, as it is open source version.? How can I solve this issue? Thanks
