with the update of Qt from 4.7.3 to 4.7.4 i lost the symulator with no connection. in fact, now i can use just the remote compiler. where is the offline symulator?

I suggest you open the updater again and make sure it is selected in the right branch.
i found c:\qtsdk\simulator\qt\mingw\bin\qmake.exe but i did not find the tool' executable...
Did you use the installer / updater or did you use another way to update?
i updated qt 4.7.3 by using maintaince sdk tool
