No license available on local system
-
Hi, I recently installed Qt trial version. I downloaded the setup while being logged into the Qt system. After installation, every time when I launch Qt creator or Qt Design Studio, I get the message that there is no license available on local system. Qt Design Studio starts after about 30 seconds, but Qt Creator does not even start. I do not have a license, since I am trying the IDE yet. How can I solve this problem, without buying the commercial license yet.
I installed Qt on a windows computer. Versions 5.9.9 and 5.12.9. Thanks -
Hi @kachorara, and welcome!
How long ago did you activate your trial?
This forum is mainly used by open-source users instead of commercial users, and very few engineers from the Qt Company come to this forum. I don't have an answer to your question, but I think you might get better responses if you post at the Interest mailing list (https://lists.qt-project.org/listinfo/interest ) -- subscribe first, then post there. Qt Company staff are more active on that list.

Qt 5.9 reached end-of-life in May 2020. I recommend you stick to Qt 5.12 only.
