Dynamic widgets AutomationId property does not exist

Widgets created with the designer have an AutomationId but dynamic widgets (created using new) don't. Is it possible for dynamic widgets to have an AutomationId ?

Something else is going on as Designer also just new the widgets at runtime.
(the UI file is used to generate source code)Look in the ui->setupUI(this) and see if it sets something
