Build Qt-5.12.8 from source with Visual Studio 2019

Hello,
We are building Qt-5.12.8 with Visual Studio 2019 and it works, but we end up getting several runtime errors. I see that it is recommended to use Visual Studio 2017, is this still the case? What is the reason for not using Visual Studio 2019?
