Can anyone (I think this one will be from Trolls) say me from is it possible to configure generic highlighting colors? For example I'm trying to change colors of xml highlighting, but can't find where I can do (I use dark theme and xml colors are too dark for it and badly visible).

We are using the same file format as the KDE text editor Kate. See its "manual":http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdesdk/kate/katehighlight-xml-format.html for a definition of the highlighter files.

Will it be configruable from Creator in future independently of Kate? I'm using different color schemes in Creator and Kate and it will be good to have independent settings for both of them.

You can change the path creator is using to discover the highlighter files. Just check Tools->Options->Text Editor->Generic Highlighter.
