OpenSource DSLR API for Windows

Hi!
Some time ago I developed an application to capture images from webcams. Now, I want to extend my application to get pictures from DSLR cameras (i.e. Nikon, Canon) but I couldn't find any open source API to connect my application to the cameras on Windows.
The GPhoto2 library works great for Unix systems, but I wonder if there is any option for Windows platforms, open and based on Qt.

Any suggestion? Thanks!
