Questions about official procedure for cross-compilation for RPi

I found this "modern guide" for cross-compiling Qt for Rasbian.
Few questions:- anyone tested this for RPi4?
- the guide suggest to use a real RPi... I would prefer to do this using the Raspbian image mounted with
losetupandsystemd-nspawnto execute commands. Any drawback here? - instead, if I follow the exact procedure, how to replicate the environment on other sd-card? I mean, I don't want to clone them! Usually I make a custom img file that contains the final rootfs. It would be enough to sync the
/usr/localfolder?

Yes, many people. It does not work due to changes in GPU drivers in PRi4.

It depends where you install Qt to (what prefix dir you choose).

It depends where you install Qt to (what prefix dir you choose).
