In QTablewidget there is a rowcount method.
But I didn't find this in QTableview ref.

Is there an other method for this or

You can use the rowCount method of the model you use instead.

I think like this "model()":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qabstractitemview.html#model and then "rowCount()":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qabstractitemmodel.html#rowCount
