Push button tooltip shows up as garbled image!

Hi,
I have a push button which I am displaying like an icon by setting the border image through a style sheet. Now when I assigned a tooltip using Qt designer to this button, i shows up as garbled image. This does not happen with the default push button style with text.

Any idea on how to fix this.

Your style sheet has also been applied to the tooltip because it is a child of your button.

You should limit the scope of the CSS with a selector (e.g.: "QPushButton { border-image: ... }" instead of just "border-image: ...").
