I have an app developed in Qt 5.10.1 (64 bit) on Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.2. Until recently I had no problems with connection to the internet from the app (download files) or nor deployed app not starting. But recently I've gotten these 2 problems. Did updates to the OS. No help. Running OS in VirtualBox 5.2.8 on Windows 10 Home 64 bit (version 1809). Any suggestions would be appreciated. App developed in Qt 5.10.1 in Linux Mint 18.3 in VirtualBox works fine. But app developed there still won't connect to the web when deployed in Mint 19.2 (although it runs).

@te777 probably your new Linux has OpenSSL 1.1, which is incompatible to 1.0.

So Qt works with one of them, and fails with the other.

        It's a real pain...

Qt has to stay free or it will die.
