cannot get hellotr translate

Hello,
I'm new in Qt and tried the hellotr example.

I think I followed everything explained here, anyway, I didn't get the app translated, translator.load("hellotr_la") returns false.

I also tried to tranlate addressbook and followed this blog so using translation file in qrc file, but same, translator.load() always returns false.

Any idea? Can I test more things to guess what's wrong?
