    Hello Guys,

i'm trying to create the Debugging Helper, but i can't. The button for the helper isn't clickable:

I just downloaded the QtSDK an selected MinGW 4.4.

    Thank you for your help.

As far as I know Qt Creator 2.0+ (for Windows) does not use the debugging helper anymore. Instead some Python scripts are used.

The Pyhton scripts come with Qt Creator and should work out of the box. You'll find them at QtCreator/share/qtcreator/dumper.

Und wie kann ich dem Qt Creator sagen, dass er die Scripts benutzen soll? Ich finde auch keine Hilfe in der Doku.

Please stick to english in the international part of this forum!

The scripts are automatically used whenever you start the debugger from creator.

So far you asked about how to rebuild debugging helpers and the answer to that is "You can't since those are no longer needed/used".

So what is your problem now? What does not work for you? What did you install in the normal way? Qt Creator or the Qt SDK?

My Problem is I want to see the data of the qt objects and with these python scripts it doesn't work on both Linux and Windows. I installed the Qt SDK. Would it help if I post the debug log?
