Second that... Hard to believe iphone going down with more and more people around me having one!

          Write “Qt”, not “QT” (QuickTime).

ucomesdag, such statistics always show only part of global situation. One source can show iOS going down, another one can show iOS going up. All depends on audience of services used to collect statistical info

This is due to success of N8,C7 and E7.

Hard to believe, the best part is next version of Symbian 3 ( which is called Belle ) has got some nice features and UI uplift.

But when can we expect Belle, the much awaited update for Anna is still not released. By the time these updates are made available it would be too late. Nokia should now push the releases quickly.

Anna is already out there in X7, and E6 phones, and Anna update to other phones ( N8,C7,E7) are coming by end of August...

And about Belle, I have couple of my friends in Nokia, and unofficially phones with Belle should come out in 1-2 months ( They have almost sales ready software ), and Belle update to existing phone will take some time ( 1-2 months more ).

But Belle may not take as much time as Anna took to come out..

I was referring to the update of Anna for existing devices. The Anna update was ready by February or so for new devices and its taking them about six months to provide an update to exiting devices.

And so based on the past update frequency, it doesn't seem Belle would be provided as an update soon. And if it is really ready they can directly push Belle.

Another reason for why suspect there would be delay or these delays have happened is that now everything would be handled by Accenture and not Nokia (going by the press release).

Anyways there is no point for us in speculating these things. It would be great for developers and end users if the updates are pushed quickly.

                        bq.
Samsung Electronics Co., maker of the Galaxy mobile phone, may have surpassed Nokia Oyj and Apple Inc. in smartphone sales for the first time on demand for devices that run on Android software, a research company said.

Interesting is also the "mobile browser statistic":http://gs.statcounter.com/#mobile_browser-ww-monthly-200909-201106 . It clearly shows the big impact of Windows phones on the market.

My programs never have bugs, they just develop random features.
