After several tries it seems i cannot show my hello world test app on the harmattan simulator.
Has anyone achieved this?

I clicked all possible buuttons and app icons, only a "done" button appears.
Got below error while installing.. (Don't know how to paste an image)

"Error during installation process(com.nokia.ndk.tools.madde.usbdriver) : execution failed(Unexpected exit code: -2147418112): "C:\QtSDK\Madde\usbdriver\DPInst.exe /SE /SA /SW""

I had to ignore this error to continue and don't know how will this error effect my development env.
I have experienced that this error can be caused by the Windows UAC / signature verification. Be sure to not miss any UAC / Windows prompts which ask for permission to install unverified software / hardware during install.

Did you succeed in running a test app?

Yes - without any problems. I tested it with a small "Hello world" example created by the Qt-Quick-Application assistant. After deployment the icon was properly added to the home screen and the play button inside QtCreator started the application.

!http://www.abload.de/img/harmattantestapp4jne.png(Harmattan Emulator - "Hello World")!

However, the speed of the emulator is - even with hardware acceleration turned on - highly questionable.

Yes, we really need patience with it. Thanks for the update. I will try again later on.

I used software accelerator because of some posts mentioning it crashes that way. Next try with hw accelaration.

yes! hardware accelaration is much faster for me!

there is even a new type of Qt Quick project added : Harmattan application.

I still have this problem.. can somebody help me
I have uninstalled my Qt SDK 1.1.2 and installed it again, but same problem.

@qemu emulator crashes. With openGL mode set to “Auto-Detect”, it crashed and asked me to select “software rendering” instead.

When I booted up wit “software rendering”, it crashes.

Error signature
AppName: qemu_winxxxx.exe AppVer:0.13.50.0 ModName: egl.dll

Any help?
@

I don't know under which section I should create bug in Jiar

yeah i experienced the same problem too
when i installed it on win 7 it show a warning message :
installed nokia usb driver? yes / no
if we press yes installation will continue without problem
but if we chose no it will result on error installing nokia usb driver

but when on xp this warning doesn't showed up
and automatically result on error installing nokia usb driver

i even try to install it via administration user on xp
but still result on error
