    hi guys , anyone know how to convert png files to gif files , with qt , it seems qt has QPixmap and QPicture , but it seems there is no function to convert it ?

        I don't think you need to explicitly convert it, you load your png in a QPixmap for instance, and then save it in another file, with gif format (or any other supported format).

          thanks Cincirin and Johan , actually my problem is to compose several pngs files to a gif animation file , or avi , mp4, flv or other video files , do you have some good suggestions ? thanks again .

            I know this is not a Qt solution however ffmpeg can take a series of images and output video files, not sure if it supports gif animations or not.
